mexican layered dip
Layered bean dip has always been one of my very, very favorite dips. This one is even better for parties because there are no beans!! Why didn't I think of that? We took this dip to our ward Family Home Evening last night held at the park. It was a delicious and fun evening.
mexican layered dip (blog: Home Based Mom)
2 cups guacamole
2 cups sour cream
2 packets taco seasoning mix (next time I'll use one; two was too salty)
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 can sliced olives
3 green onions, chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
2-3 tomatoes, chopped
In desired serving dish or casserole, spread guacamole on the bottom of the pan. Mix the sour cream, taco seasoning mix and mayo together then spread over the guacamole. Sprinkle on the olives followed by the green onions, cheese and tomatoes. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with chips.
